Sign up starts on October 14th and will be open for 3 weeks until November 4th

Includes all the larp content, your pre-written character sheet, and dormitory accommodation and meals from Thursday evening to Sunday morning.

These are available to anyone on a reduced income who would otherwise be unable to attend, and offer the same experience as the full price contributions.

A slightly different experience, understudies will be given light, solo characters, but are likely to be asked to switch to another character to cover last minute player dropouts. Ideal for flexible players who are willing to take on the challenge of an eleventh hour role change, they come at a discount to say thank you for helping out the larp.

Sign up and character allocation

Because the experience of Bonds Unbroken will be quite different depending on your role, we’ll be asking character questions at sign up to make sure everyone who gets a spot has a character that matches what they asked for. You can see the questions that will be in the form further down this page.

After flagging, we’ll offer a handful of spots to players who have contributed to this larp and the communities that have led to its existence. Then we’ll draw players randomly until it becomes difficult to match up the people who are drawn with the roles available, at which point we’ll start matching the remaining spaces to people whose forms ask for the experience those characters will give them.

The bond and paired sign ups

We encourage signing up with a partner so you know you’re playing the bond with someone you trust and can discuss what you’d like from that relationship. You’ll be be playing together even if you want to play an Initiate and a Squire. Either you’ll both get in or neither of you will.

If you sign up on your own we’ll make sure you’re matched with someone who has told us they want a similar relationship to what you’ve asked for. You’ll also have the opportunity to pair up during the flagging period if you spot someone on the player list you want to play the bond with and they agree.

There are also a small number of solo characters available if you’d prefer not to play on the bond at all.

The money you give the organisers is a contribution towards the running of the event and can’t be resold.

If you need to drop out, the organisers will attempt to find someone else to cover all or part of that contribution, and if we can we’ll return what they are able to contribute minus any transaction fees that have been incurred.

Note that this is likely to be less the closer we are to the event, and that if you drop out after July 20th 2025 you will not receive any refund before the larp.

After the larp, if there are unspent contingency funds, the organisers will return as much as possible of the contributions from those who were unable to attend the larp, minus any transaction fees.

If the organisers need to cancel the event, all players will get back a share of any of the unspent budget, proportional to their contribution.

We’ll be covered by LRP Alliance’s insurance. The policy is liability insurance only, not cancellation insurance – it providers insurance if the organises are liable for a claim when running an event. If you as an attendee need accident, travel or cancellation cover then you will need to arrange that separately.

Please take an LFT before you start your journey to the event and do not come if you test positive, or if you have any symptoms that may be covid.

This will not be a masked event. You are free to wear a mask if you prefer, but it might limit the amount you can interact with some organisers/NPCs who need to lip read.

This policy may have to change if the circumstances of the pandemic change things before the event.

This is an 18+ event.
